Chaparral Christian Church is a community of people who believe that no matter who you are or where you come from, you deeply matter to God who showed us His compassion and love by sending His Son. Jesus came not only as an example and expression of God’s love, but also to give His life so that we could have a full and real life with God today. Because of God’s love for us, we want to help others connect, worship and engage God’s world in a way that reaches beyond ourselves.

This Fall we opened a new innovative elementary school that incorporates the latest in educational technology to assist in mastering core skills. This engaging program allows students to become curious, independent, lifelong learners. This is fostered by a project based curriculum that is designed to challenge students in an authentic, real world way, so there’s no boredom and frustration with school. Students are encouraged to explore the arts, sports and other interests. Students are expected to put their Christian values into action within the Chaparral community.
The Chaparral Labyrinth’s© unique design contains five internal and two external stations. The labyrinth can be used with or without the stations, individually or as part of a guided labyrinth experience. The final form of the labyrinth is comprised of 9,585 pavers creating a path of 1,187 feet.
The labyrinth is not a maze, but a prayer and meditation tool in which the traveler journeys from the world to seek time with God. Instead, the sheer act of walking a complicated path begins to focus the mind. We hope that the labyrinth experience will provide you an opportunity for meditation, reflection and prayer as you journey with God.
